Laser Welding Machines
Laser welding machines join stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and copper with a fiber source at 1000–3000W (Raycus or MAX). Handheld for jobs, repairs and mixed work; automatic for repeat paths in a cell. Typical aim versus MIG/TIG: less grind and less distortion on thin sheet.
Who this family is for
Use laser welding when you are joining sheet and fabrications — kitchens, doors, cabinets, railings, panels, auto components — and want a concentrated weld with less post-work than stick or MIG on the right jobs.
It is the wrong first choice for marking IDs, for wood and acrylic cutting, or for PCB plastics. See fiber marking , dot peen , CO2 and UV .
How it works
A fiber beam is delivered through a handheld wobble head or a programmed motion system. Water cooling on this class. Wire feeder is optional for gap filling — wire is a consumable when used. Handheld units on the current range may also clean or cut with the right head and settings; welding is still the product family.

- On fit-up and thickness this class is meant for, many shops grind less. It is not a universal replacement for every structural weld.
- Handheld vs automatic?
- Mixed, on-site, or one-offs → handheld. Same path all day in a cell → automatic.
